Inmarsat's I-5 F3 satellite (which will cover the Pacific Ocean Region) is scheduled for launch at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Friday, 8/28.

The F2 satellite, which covers the Americas and the Atlantic Ocean, will enter commercial service later this month.

Inmarsat’s I-5 F3 satellite (which will cover the Pacific Ocean Region) is scheduled for launch at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Friday, 8/28. The F3 satellite will complete the Global Express constellation which will be the world’s first globally available, high-speed mobile broadband service. Global Xpress will deliver broadband speeds around 100 times faster than SwiftBroadband (for the aviation market).

The F2 satellite, which covers the Americas and the Atlantic Ocean, will enter commercial service later this month. F-2 was launched on 2/1/2015
